The ALUCA Life Insurance Excellence Awards is now in its fifth year. The Awards are about celebrating the value that great Life Insurance underwriting, claims, rehabilitation and other professionals contribute to delivering the best possible experience for your clients. They also provide an opportunity for the best in the profession to recognise the fantastic work being done by their peers and colleagues.

Chantelle took out her award for demonstrating excellence by driving successful life insurance strategies with strong customer outcomes. She was recognised as going above and beyond as a leader through demonstrated thought-leadership, positive impacts to more than just the bottom line and innovative thinking.
Jo and Sri were part of the cross-industry working group which produced a white paper titled IDII Financial Underwriting and Claims Better Practice which was awarded the Sustainability Award. Jo led the working group which was recognised for its thought-leadership on industry sustainability and commended by both ASIC and APRA on using innovative industry collaboration to address the complex issue of sustainability in the financial sector.
Finally, TAL's Underwriting, Quality and Training team took out their category with demonstrated leadership in their work on the Underwriting Competency Framework, Underwriting Academy, innovation and outstanding stakeholder engagement and collaborative use of partnerships.
