TAL Risk Academy launches program to support you in a new era of advice

As our industry continues to change, TAL Risk Academy is continuing to evolve to help you navigate the new requirements with confidence and feel prepared for a strong future in advice.

The 2020 program has been designed to meet your current needs with courses focused on key areas such as the Code of Ethics, FASEA Exam content and help navigating a Professional Year program.

With more than 80 CPD-aligned courses, the 2020 program also covers key topics such as advice, business management, claims, underwriting, marketing and more to provide support to your business in a number of important areas.

The 2020 TAL Risk Academy offers:

• Focused Learning: With the new Code of Ethics coming into effect in 2020, we’ve established a program with a focused range of courses to help you navigate the Code and integrate it successfully into your business.
  
  
• FASEA Exam Support: Masterclasses will be held all across Australia to help support you in your preparation for the exam, so you can be successful the first time.

• Professional Year Support: To help you integrate the Professional Year standard into your business more easily, and to encourage new advisers to join the industry, TAL Risk Academy is launching a program to support the development of a Professional Year plan.

• University Pathways: We’ve partnered with Charles Sturt University, Deakin University and the University of New England to provide a University Pathways program. This will help you meet the education standards by recognising learning you’ve undertaken through TAL Risk Academy.

• CPD-aligned Learning: All courses are accredited with the AFA and/or FPA. And with more than 40 courses available online – via our on-demand learning options – you can easily fulfill your CPD requirements on your schedule.
