Your Asteron Life client data and reporting have now been moved from AdviserConnect to the TAL Adviser Centre (TAC), putting all your client reporting in one user-friendly place and making it easier for you to do business every day.

When can I start using TAC to access my Asteron Life client information?

Your Asteron Life insurance client information, forms and reporting has been available on the TAL Adviser Centre since 24 May 2021. Please be aware that at launch, investment client information will not be available to view on TAC – we will be working hard to implement this functionality as soon as possible, however in the meantime should you require support with these clients you will need to contact our Adviser Services Team on 1800 031 050.

What are the benefits of moving Asteron Life insurance client data from Adviser Connect to TAC?

  • An improved digital experience for advisers with Asteron Life insurance clients, including improved reporting & display of client records
  • The ability to update your details online and set up any members of your team who require access to your Asteron Life client information.
  • Access to download TAL & Asteron Life PDSs, forms & other documents using the one convenient search functionality (in addition to accessing these online through www.asteronlife.com.au as you do today)
  • Functionality to request key Asteron documents and correspondence via an online form submission, including certificates of currency, tax documents & other client correspondence
  • Perform certain actions on your clients’ policies including submitting a claim notification, requesting the review of an underwriting term.

Please be aware that policy insurance and reporting for your Asteron Life investment clients will not appear on TAC at launch on 24 May 2021. We will be working to implement this functionality as soon as possible.

Will I be able to view my Investment-only Asteron Life client information from 24 May 2021?

Unfortunately, you will not be able to access your Asteron Life Investment client information and reporting through the TAC portal from 24 May 2021. We are working to provide this functionality soon, however in the meantime please get in touch with the Asteron Life Investment Service Team on 1300 652 270 who will be able to provide any information or reporting you require.

When do I need to make the transition from Adviser Connect to the TAC Portal?

It is important that you make the transition to the TAC Portal in the week commencing 24 May so we can support you and before AdviserConnect is switched off. Ensure you logon and can access the TAC portal, view the TAC dashboard navigation video and take-a-look around and get familiar with the TAC portal. To ensure you are fully supported we will keep AdviserConnect running alongside TAC during the transition.  We will ensure you are informed when access to Adviser Connect will be removed.
