Temporary pause on TAL Health Sense Plus and Asteron Health Sense Plus programs
At TAL, we care about the health of Australians. At this time, the health and well-being of our partners, customers and the broader community is of critical importance to us. After considering how TAL can act to support the advice of our health experts as well as the Federal, State and Territory Governments, we have decided to temporarily pause new invitations to our TAL Health Sense Plus and Asteron Health Sense Plus offer from the 1st of October 2021.
This decision has been made to help limit any additional pressure on our health care system particularly in impacted communities and to ensure our medical and general practitioners can attend to those in the community with urgent needs during this period. Please note, this doesn’t impact clients who have already received a Health Sense Plus offer, or those who have been approved to receive their 5% Health Sense Plus premium discount.
We understand some of your clients will be due to renew their Health Sense Plus premium discount during the temporary pause. We will continue to communicate our Health Sense Plus program to these clients. To help support your clients who are unable to undertake a preventative health check during this period, as a temporary alternative, we will accept evidence of a GP telehealth consultation in relation to the preventative health check or a COVID vaccination certificate which can include evidence of either your client’s 1st your 2nd vaccination dose.
We will let you know as soon as the program is available again to all your eligible clients and we look forward to working with you in supporting the proactive management of your clients’ health in the future.
