It’s been a busy year and we hope you’re planning a well-earned break, but if you need a hand getting ready for Phase 3 of the LIF reforms or any support over the summer holidays, we’ll have lots of hands on deck to help. 

LIF Phase 3 starts on 1 January 2020 and there isn’t a transition period this time so, although some of our people are taking a break, lots of the team will be here through the holiday period to help you finalise new business and process transactions before the 31 December deadline.

Key dates for your calendar

16 December 2019

For policies funded by rollover from a super fund
 
We’re encouraging advisers to submit requirements for these policies by 5pm on Monday 16 December. That will give us time to request payment from your client’s fund before the end of the year.
So make sure you allow plenty of time for requests to be processed and funds released to TAL
31 December 3pm

For applications not funded by super.
 
All requirements must be received by 3pm on Tuesday 31 December

 

31 December 8pm

New business processing
 
Our team will be available until 8pm on Tuesday 31 December.
