TAL Health Sense Plus: more rewarding than ever before
The 5% TAL Health Sense Plus discount is coming to existing, eligible Income Protection (IP) policies from October 2025
We’re pleased to be extending our preventative health discount program, TAL Health Sense Plus, to include existing, eligible Accelerated Protection clients who hold IP benefits.
Designed to raise awareness of the value of preventative tests and make life insurance more affordable, TAL Health Sense Plus was added to new IP policies earlier this year. Now, we‘re looking forward to supporting the long-term health outcomes of even more of your clients as we extend the program to existing, eligible IP benefits with a policy issued under a PDS and Policy Document dated on or after 24 September 20211.
Since it launched in 2019, TAL Health Sense Plus has helped over 20,000 customers become more informed about their health and made their cover more affordable2.

For offers issued on or after 1 October 2025, eligible existing customers with a policy issued under a PDS and Policy Document dated on or after 24 September 2021, are eligible to receive the discount on Income Protection (in addition to Life Insurance, TPD Insurance and Critical Illness Insurance). Existing customers with a policy issued under a PDS and Policy Document before 24 September 2021 are eligible for a discount on Life Insurance, TPD and Critical Illness Insurance only.

Premium discount applies to Accelerated Protection Life Insurance, TPD and Critical Illness Insurance and (where applicable) Income Protection plans only, and does not apply to per mille loadings, policy fees and stamp duties.
