We’ve made enhancements to Asteron Health Sense Plus
We want to help encourage clients to take a proactive approach to their health and engage with their cover so that it remains inforce for as long as they need it.
We’ve made changes to our Asteron Health Sense Plus program by removing the BMI requirement, making it easier for your clients to access and retain the 5% discount.
This means, all your clients need to do is have a preventative test with their GP to access more affordable cover.
Preventative tests play a vital role in detecting and even preventing serious disease. By raising awareness of their value, we’re helping more of your clients care for their health.

The offer of Asteron Health Sense Plus is subject to the Terms and Conditions.
Participating in Health Sense Plus is entirely optional and does not impact your client’s existing policy terms or claims made under their existing Asteron Life policy with TAL Life. The discount applies only to Asteron Life Complete and Asteron Lifeguard Life, TPD and/or Trauma/Recovery insurance which commenced on or after 1 January 2008. The discount does not apply to any Child Cover Options or Child Cover benefits. The discount only applies to the base premium. Policy fees, stamp duty (where explicitly charged) and per-mille loadings are not discounted.
Participation in any preventative screening test will not be reimbursed by TAL. The results of the test are between your client and their doctor, who has a responsibility for communicating results to your client. TAL does not require the test results for the purposes of Health Sense Plus. By participating in Health Sense Plus, TAL gains access to data and information generated from your client's participation in the program (Data). They must acknowledge and agree that this Data may contain Personal Information and Sensitive Information (as those terms are defined in the Privacy Act 1988). By participating in Health Sense Plus, they must consent to the collection and use by TAL of the Data obtained in accordance with the TAL Privacy Policy, located on our website (www.asteronlife.com.au/privacy). Any Data that your client shares with TAL in conjunction with this offer will be used only for the purpose of assessing the policyholder’s eligibility for the Health Sense Plus discount and not for any other purpose.
TAL reserves the right to alter or discontinue the Health Sense Plus offer at any time.
