Our support service can help ensure that customers and their families can have some relief by maintaining the life insurance cover they need during these difficult times.
Supporting the health and wellbeing of our customers is a priority for us and we understand that in these challenging circumstances, assistance like this can make a difference.
Our financial hardship policy
If your customers are in a position where they want to keep their insurance cover but are unable to meet their financial obligations, we may be able to help them with accessing features of their cover or making changes to their policy that may assist with affordability. This could include premium relief, which would be assessed based on individual circumstances. We can also discuss different payment options with them.
The financial hardship policy is available to all existing TAL customers holding policies with TAL (either through a financial adviser or directly with TAL).
How to access the support
If you have a client that requires support, please ask them to get in touch with our Customer Service team on 1300 209 088 to talk through the options that may be available to them during this difficult time. You are also able to speak to customer service on their behalf. The team is available from 8:00am – 7:00pm AEST Monday to Friday.
