Congratulations Amie Baker

At the recent AFA Thrive conference, we announced Amie Baker from Rekab Advice as the winner of the 2022 Female Excellence in Advice award.

In conjunction with the AFA, TAL has been a proud sponsor of this award for ten years, which recognises outstanding female leadership in advice and celebrates women who are making a significant contribution to their community and clients.

Amie is a strong advocate for females in the industry and is passionate about educating women around the country on the importance of financial literacy, which she does through her two podcasts ‘Centsability’ and ‘Equity Gals’.

Amie said “Being an adviser is a true privilege – we have the opportunity to be part of people’s lives like no other profession. I take what I do seriously as I know that if I do a great job, I am making a positive impact on another life. Our role as advisers is to guide, educate, problem solve and support our clients - Financial advice gives people the road map to create the life they desire using money as a tool.”
